AR2013 Tender annoucement

I just posted an announcement regarding next years AR. In short it's time to tender your proposals for next year via PM. Announcement should be visible at the top of all the boards.

The date for bids passed on 15th Dec. Only one bid was recieved and it was of very high quality. You can view the bid here.

Well done to the bidding team, I can see a lot of time an thought has gone into the proposal. So they can now get on with the nitty gritty of organisiing and the rest of us can make a note in our diaries.

I'm too posh too camp! Plus I have to have a shower every morning before I do anything, I hate feeling greasy and dirty

I won't, I don't drink, so I'll just ride back when the fun is over.

just be smelly like the rest of us! we all will be with no showers!

Re: AR2013 Tender annoucement

I can go home for showers so I'm ok. If I couldn't I would still be camping, deodorant is your friend

I'll be having a shower as I only live 10 mins down the road. I will be the definition of poo break (american pie gag)

Just one thing.... I think I'd rather that that we didn't include any air ambulance visits......

Be nice to know its near by but I'll be happier to not see it if you know what I mean.

We'll see if we can get it to mark junctions for us. Just need to tag a big hi-viz to the tail.

I'm too posh for the Premier Inn. My staff tell me this place is close by which looks a bit better.

I've been there. Lots of people getting stabbed and shot. Best off camping. Only the odd fist fight at an AR camp site.

when you say this are talking about proper beer or sh1tty lager?

Premier inn claims to be full those dates. Langrish house looks nice but £139/night for a small double makes it an expensive option

They used to have local ales on tap but it's been a while since I was last in there, I'm pretty sure it's changed hands since then. It's a pretty big pub.

Hobgoblin (lovely), London Pride and Guinness were on when I went there a month or two ago. Lagers were 1664 and Stella. Plus the usual Fosters carp.

There's Google with loads of Hotels listed. Search for either Petersfield or Alton for key local towns. Travel lodges locally, loads of B&Bs. Remember it'll be mid-summer weekend so at least the rain should be warm for those camping.
