Ponderosa closed

Had a spin out in the (relative) warmth this afternoon, went up the Horseshoe to find the Ponderosa was closed, barriers closed to the car park too.

The only info is a Facebook post from the owner from around 9am this morning:

"We sincerely apologise but the Cafe will be closed today until further notice due to circumstances beyond our control. I apologise sincerely to our loyal customers."

I do hope it reopens.

Could be something as simple as staff shortage.

This on their Facebook page now,
"Good afternoon, for everyones information the cafe will be open as normal 9am tomorrow Monday 11th of February. We thank everyone for the patience and appreciate the support we have received.

According to the local rag, it was due to damage by storm Eric. They needed to fix gutters and the like back on.

Just checked, it's open. Looks like mine is the only bike that's not been cleaned specially for the visit. [emoji16]
