Might try and make the Fenman this year, I've always been working, I should have done my Bank Holiday contract hours by then

Posted here but every Friday there is a bike meet at Whitwell & Reepham Railway Station, there's a tea room and beer marquee, sometimes a BBQ and a very very big parking area

Details here: http://whitwellstation.com/bikers-night/

I much prefer the free events :)

We need to do the christmas fish & chips in Southwold or similar this year!

Yes we'd better do something this year, I'll look at the calendar.

Better get the bike Mot'd

Can't do the bike show, working

A yearly catch-up sounds like a plan - I will keep an eye on things...

lol, yeah, one a year we say hello, something wrong there :)

I do have the occasional ride with Thunderace, but other than that nothing....it's just too quiet on here and we're all too far apart aye

It is quiet on here, I'd agree.

This year has been mentally busy for me with personal stuff that I've hardly had time for my own stuff.

When I've had free time, I've been too tired to do much more than watch TV.

Thankfully most of the ****e is sorted, just one last thing to get finished and life will get back to normalish.

I did fire up the Sv today, I'll get it MOT'd in October. Just in time for the Xmas run. :king:

Nice one, likewise, busy here too....done a few rides with some but its all pretty last minute...what has been mentioned here got no interest, more interest from facebook for the area in all honesty

Re: EAR Forthcoming Biking Events

As you and the others with kids, life gets busy, which doesn't include all the extra stuff on my plate this year, so it's a bit selfish to go off out on a Saturday or Sunday when I've not had time to do stuff they've wanted to do with me, that my wife wouldn't do :D

Just not enough hours or days in the week to fit everything in :smt022

Have a great Xmas and New year.
Maybe we can get a spring route to blast out the cobwebs.

Most definitely, I need to make better use of the bikes next year, I'm up for a lot more riding....this year, apart from commuting, has been event less really....

Happy Christmas and New year to you all

Re: EAR Forthcoming Biking Events

How about having done no riding since the Meat run 2016!

Poor old Sv doesn't even have an MOT :-(

It's been a crap year, with too much domestic stuff to deal with, but most of that has been resolved, so hopefully I'll have more free time next year.

Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas all! Same thing here with regards to not much social riding at all - lots of commuting though - hoping to do more next year :)

Re: EAR Forthcoming Biking Events

A new job has meant no riding for me this year.
Hoping 2018 will see some more miles on the SV.
Give us a shout if you go for a ride out.
Have a great Christmas.
