May Photo Competition - Messing about on the river -VOTE OFF!
Grew up next to the Medway and spent my childhood messing about with boats and fishing rods. Never lived far from a river for most of my life, and never happier than when the river is part of the soundtrack of my life.

Though not technically a river, Coniston does have rivers attached - love this steam boat

I just realised this one is probably eligible. Taken on my ancient S5 just before the storm broke. Strictly speaking it's a canal. The sunlight made the boats glow against a very angry sky.
