An amazing look back at English life at the time, from the hazardous working conditions to domestic life, trade unions versus factory owners, and an insight into wages and the cost of living at the time. It's anything but nostalgic.

I was 7 at the time this was filmed, and it certainly reflects the life that me and my schoolfriends had.
