I am bringin the SW&S Party Wagon

I am bringing a camper van to the AR.

Whats the deal?

Can I just show up or do I need to make special arrangements?

Its not a motorhome just a veedub conversion.

I'm getting a bit worried about number of 4 wheeled vehicles, theres loads of bike parking as this was what we had in mind when we reccied the site. But there's very little parking for cars, camper vans etc

You can bring it, but I aint guaranteeing that theres going to be somewhere for you to park it.

If you want to guarantee a spot, its probably best to ring the pub and make your own arrangements. But you'll end up in the offical campsite field, rather than the event / over flow field that the rest of us are going to be in.

Sorry to sound like a killjoy, I think its important that we make sure we have enough space to give priority parking to bikes.

Whilst i appreciate what you are saying, my van will take up less space than 'most tents' plus bike. So I don't really see the problem here.

I will phone the site and make the necessary arrangements.

Yeah that's a great idea in theory unless of course you have a family i.e children who cant go pillion that sort of thing, but don't want to miss out on socialising with friends from the .org that you don't see often as they're a distance away

I feel left out! I don't have a car licence!

Sorry. Just to be clear, I'm not having a go at the 4 wheelers. The more people the better I say!

Fair enough. Just hear this sort of comment quite often and it's worn pretty thin now
