New riders out there in/near Thames valley area

New riders who want to join us for a ride but are afraid to ask because you think your too slow, or not enough experienced .
WE CATER FOR ALL
No matter how slow or even if you've just passed your test,
Join us for a ride out
It doesn't have to be very fast or even very far.
Just let us know who you are and your location and when your available week days and/or weekends.
If we know there are people out there wanting to join us for a ride well arrange a ride to cater for your abilities.

Let us know, and join us or just read about the great rides we have. :smt103

Can we have this as a sticky ?

[Caveat Mode]Be warned, the Thames Valley group are renowned for losing people. It isn't personal or anything to do with your speed but we just have a tendancy to get lost. Whatever you do dont follow ASM as it is a firm policy of the group to lose him at least once on every rideout.[/Caveat Mode]

I wrote this announcement as one of the first posts in the TV section.

It is the one and only announcement in the TV section

It is the very first thread on the TV main page.

Dont personally think we need anything more.

I'm just outside you guys area. In Sutton Surrey. But not too far, would be good to get out for my first proper rideout soon. Passed my test in September and have only been out on me tod so far. I ride everyday, commuting, and am building my confidence and improving every time i go out, I think.

Feel free to pop along to any of our meets or rides. I passed in May and also commute so we probably have similar riding experience. This weekend's ridout is likely to be a fairly easy going ride and as it is only for 3hrs so it would probably make a good first group ride. Checkout this link for more info.

Details are not fully deceided yet, but it looks like a 9.30 start at the Shire Horse (see the map in my signature) we will then head up to Fox's dinner to meet with the oxford lot and from there we will take a 3hr ride round the countryside with the aim of being back to Fox's at 1-1.30 for some lunch and a gentle ride home.

Sorry but we don't allow outsiders. If your not in the boundry area's identified you can go to hell.

In reality though, more than merrier.

If I haven't said it before, welcome to the site. :bounce: and especially welcome to the TV section.

If the Thames Valley section made beer it'd probably be the best beer in the world.
