Hotels
OK, some hotel ideas here. Trying to keep the room cost to below €50/night, which is quite cheap when there is 2 of you sharing. All do breakfast (which is usually about €5). URLs are provided, I would like to book the hotel by end of January latest, so we can all get in.

Centre of town, has a car park and is by the river.... http://www.hotelgranvelle.activehotels.com/THE This one is also in the centre of Besancon http://www.hotelamarante.activehotels.com/THE |
Nigel has emailed me, but it's a long way off of our target area. Nigel's place is right down on the South Coast....
These places are all in or close to Besancon, which is where "base camp" is going to be.. |
Might be worth considering for Eurotour 2005 though Steve?
The Pyranees, Andorra... ah, just think of it. . |

No you're right. Still, maybe a two day out and return wouldn't be such a bad thing, make the whole trip seven days. Or even take the ferry? Who knows, just sounds a great place to be although the distance problem would need to be solved.
Looking forward to the 04 bash though. Besancon here we come! . |
