respray
so september past i crashed the bike and it needs a respray. i want to keep it blue (cant be arzed sending paperwork away) but the question is what blue.
i'm going naked as well :smt119 at the moment the bike is pearl vigor blue but i'm thinking of just plain flat rizla blue like this one https://www.motorcyclistonline.com/3...y-suzuki-sv650. mine will be pretty much the same as i have the gsxr front end and i would be adding a suzuki bellypan and no naff high level zort. |
Re: respray
I like the Rizla-ish blue, and it goes well with the black frame etc. As you say, apart from the high-level pipe, the bike in that article looks good.
Do you have a Fuel can on the bike at the moment? |
Re: respray
i have a beowulf warrior can on but its being swapped out for something else as i fancied a change, its just one of those cheep akro rip off chinese jobs but in black not carbon.
if i dont like it (too loud) then i'll put the warrior back on. |
Re: respray
Just buy used side panels and a tank? Cheaper than a pro respray.
I quite like that high level exhaust, and yes that colour goes well with the black. |
Re: respray
I would go for renault racing blue personally.

Re: respray
hmm according to the blurb they are saying that the paint is Candy Grand Blue..
its not about being cheaper, if that were the case i would just rattle can it matt black. |
Re: respray
ooohhh and to make matters worse there are two different shades of rizla blue. the old one and the new darker one.
new blue https://www.tobaccospecialists.co.uk...ing-papers.jpg old blue http://www.smokersheavenshop.co.uk/i...ar-blue-01.jpg its the new colour that i was thinking about |
Re: respray
That new colour looks good - do it.
Why would you want to look like a Renault? |
Re: respray
that newer colour is looking abit like the Porsche Mexico blue:

Re: respray
To give you idea, Candy Grand Blue is what was on the Curvy - mine was that colour. I don't know if they had it on pointies.
Blue gel coats on top of silver base coat, metallic not flat and was a deeper shade unless there is a flat version out there. |
