Front Fork Springs And Oil Help

Hi all can I have everyones advice on my front forks. I would like to change the springs and oil (along with the seals)

I weigh 10stone without riding gear. From what I have read I think 0.85 springs and 10w or 15w oil would be about right. Does this sound correct?

If so where is the best place to buy springs?

Thanks

Re: Front Fork Springs And Oil Help

I think it partly depends on what springs you use - i.e Hagon recommend that you stick to 10w, while others vary.

Hagon, Racetech, Maxton as the ones I know of - google for places to buy.

Thanks so do you think the spring rate of 0.85 is about right?

Go lighter than that, 0.8s.

Haha, ok confusing myself. Progressive. Was going to get .85 but then got progressive.
