Should I be worried that even x-small would be too big for me? lol

Its a tough call - best thing to do is to ride like you're expecting not to be seen, and being pleasantly suprised when it makes a difference.

From what I remember reading in one of the IAM magazines, it doesn't seem to matter how visible you make yourself - if people don't expect to see you there, they won't see you (demonstrated in the article by swapping a truck for a sofa in one of the pictures, which was still identified as a truck by the majority of the sample set from the source article).

I know what you are saying, it is kind of like everything to do with riding, expect the worse so when it happens you can deal with it

i would rather wear hi-viz than urban camo.

i think its cool to wear hi-viz now as opposed to the 70-80's where you would have been laughed at by everyone.

I've got the winter camo jacket, http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/moto...6387?r=Froogle which I bought coz it stands out - not pretty but it is obvious. And I've got a Hi-viz for those murky winter half day half night days.

If it helps survive a bit longer I don't have a problem with it.

I keep a hi-vis vest under my seat for nights or foggy conditions etc.

Several people have experienced negative consequences of wearing Hi Viz by being mistaken for a Learner that needs to be overtaken at all costs.

why do people wear 'cammo' gear while riding a bike?

dont you know its designed so at a quick glance people cant see you, hence why the forces use it.

I keep a thin hi-viz running jacket under my seat.

It's dual purpose - showerproof if I get caught out, and very visible if I'm out in the dark or the fog.
