My 15yr record of not having an accident had come to an end - taken out by a car at all of 15mph by him deciding to turn right whilst I was alongside him.

Currently in Southend Hospital with a broken collar bone, some broken ribs, bruised lung & generally battered all down my left hand side.

My nice Rukka gear and new Shoei lid are no more - jacket and trousers cut off by paramedics - they were so apologetic !! Lid took quite am impact judging the state of it.

But the bottom line is I'm still here & it could have been a hell of a lot worse.

Thanks all for the good wishes.
I have no idea at all about the state of the bike - police arranged for it to be recovered to a local garage - will have to check on it when I get out of here
