GSXR front Swap Help

okay so i originally started doing the front for my bandit that got sold but kept the front
the yokes i have are 55mm yokes with 54mm forks but sorted that with a shim
now then
i had the bandit stem pressed into the yokes
i have heard the bandit stem is the same as the SV stem is that correct ?
as the stem is poking out about 3-4mm out the bottom of the yoke and the bottom race bearings wont fit its just loose
any advice >?
thank you

Re: GSXR front Swap Help

the simple solution is to stick with the GSXR stem and buy the correct top bearing. this is well documented to be the correct solution.

best advice i can give is dont fek with the yokes and fit the correct forks, axle and wheel for the job. messing with "bitsa (not busa)" front ends is always a recipe for headaches.
