MOT and clutch switch
has anyone passed and MOT with the clutch safety switch "bridged"?
the bike is ready as i found a pair of foot pegs kicking about in one of my sin bins. |
Re: MOT and clutch switch
Never bypassed the switch, would seem that it is more than just a safety interlock on modern bikes

Re: MOT and clutch switch
i know about the clutch switch and never to bypass it. but i would like to get the bike MOT'd for the weekend.
the switch should be here tomorrow afternoon or at the latest saturday and will fit it as soon as i get my hands on it. i personally dont think its part of the MOT. |
Re: MOT and clutch switch
It's not a test point. Stick it in :)

Re: MOT and clutch switch
Clutch switch has been bridged on mine for about 10 years now, never had any issue at mot time
