Seal Doctor

Re: Seal Doctor
Made one from scrap plastic, works a treat, saved me changing seals a few times.
The more widely known product is called "seal mate", there's plenty how-to videos on YouTube showing how to make and use your own. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=se...h=794&dpr=1.25 |
Re: Seal Doctor
Yes. Amazed at the amount of dirt it's pulled out of seals that seemed ok and weren't leaking. I'd assume removing the dirt every now and then wil prolong the life of the seals and stanchions.
EDIT: Actually use one like this.. slightly different but same principal.. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Seal-Mate-L.../dp/B0120G110Y |
Re: Seal Doctor
... or just fit gaiters, then the suspension oil seals last 10 times longer. I have them on all my bikes...

Re: Seal Doctor
Bought one. Forgot I even had it!
Obviously never used it. Might do one day, or not. If you want it, and I can find it, you can have it mate! |
