4 wheels good, 2 wheels better
Thought I'd just share this.
Quad biking in France earlier this year, tried to take a corner a wee little bit too fast-bike tumbles over-me with broken collar bone http://upload4.postimage.org/1765089/annon.jpg  However was at back of group in middle of nowhere, had to jump back on bike whichc had rolled over a couple of times and was back on 4 wheels), then keep riding for another 40mins. Too embarrassedd to tell our guide. Still great fun, but prefer 2 wheels Anyone else got any x-rays/grussome pics to share |
look in the photos section ....sticky'always wear your leathers',,,,big ape posted them throughout his recovery after his big off ,,no x -rays just lots of pics and a good write up :crutches:

I broke my back in two places 18 months ago, and my wrist for good measure, in a MTB accident. Highly recommended for acces to quality drugs and 4 months off work! Make sure you've got an understanding partner though... Only one of the breaks is shown below as it is the xray taken when I was admitted and they didn't think to xray the rest of my back until 6 weeks later!  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Duley/back.jpg |

A chap at Qinetiq that I was dealing with at the time sent me this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ley/Image3.jpg The zip was actually fitted for easy access in case they needed to do surgery. The pacman must have slipped in whilst I was high on painkillers. |
3 wheels even better!
Got a few of these at home but no real injuries yet!! Plenty of people have managed to get some though.
