Hi all.noticed a few pudlians and cheshires in the area.just joined the site with an oldish Sv 650 99 reg in black.tidy and with a few simple mods.etc. sold a Tdm recently finding it too tall for my ageing frame.love riding still . at 63.do any of you get out much to rivington.scotch piper or further.:alien:

Hi and welcome. I sometimes get out to the Scotch Piper but find it too crowded now. I visited Rivington a couple of times last summer and we also have a meet up ourselves on a Wednesday thru the warmer months.

Hi SpeedyClaire, yes Piper gets busy, St Annes on a Monday is ok, went a few times 2012. have a few mates local with various bikes, for midweek rides.let me know where you meet on Wednesdays when Spring is Sprung. not long now.knocker99

Keep coming back to the BP section for info on meets ( usually near Chester ) and, hopefully this year, rideouts 'nall.
Why did it rain nearly every Wednesday last Summer?

I tend to go to the Scotch a fair bit as it's only 5 mins from me and I tend to use it to catch up with mates as opposed to a ride out excuse. By the time I've ridden home from Mancland, I'm not really up for a big ride after work anyway lol
