2012 or 2013 SV650S?
 

Thinking of buying a new (pre-reg) 2012 Sv650s from a local dealer (NW England) for a grand off current rrp.
Dealer reckoned there was a 2013 model as well which I could have for a few hundred more. Are there any differences between the two model years? Dealer didn't seem to know.

The design has hardly changed much since 2004, with exception to the twin spark engine introduced in around 2008-10. I'd hazard a guess and say no, the SV is a cash cow to Suzuki now.

Perhaps get a little more for the newer year when it comes to resale?

There arent any differences as far as im aware. I may be wrong though

there is none.. nada.. nowt.. between the L2 and L3 it's exactly the same bike for the past 4 years.

a brand new pre reg for £3975. now that's cheap as i think Cupar M/C's is about £4150 brand new.

£3995 plus 30 quid admin fee quoted. so not quite a grand off but not far off.

at less than 4 grand with a 2 year warranty its a steal.
They have done bugger all but colour changes in the last 4 years

I bought one last year, excellent bike and love it! Bargain for that price!
