Having missed the SV650 Annual event this year - I'd really like to do in in '06. :)

We could go & gate-crash theirs though :D

slight derail of the topic. Having just come back from Cadwell I came back by some blinding A roads around Lincoln, Spalding, Market Deeping before picking up the A43 to Northampton.

so anyone suggesting Lincoln area gets my vote :D

I like the idea of a gathering though with a couple of short rideouts planned if people want to do them. say a morning/afternoon one. after all part of the fun of being on the bike is exploring new places. :D

Coppers are a nightmare there too - Hate bikers in particular :(

really? never saw one the whole 3 days I was up there. saw loads of bikers on my way to horncastle and not one copper on the sunday.

take your word for it, shame though. cos the A153 was a pretty nice road... nice touch with the tornados taking off from Conningsby when I went through :D

I used to live in that area and indeed the police are not very generous to the bikers in that neck of the woods. More to do with the attraction of the brilliant roads for bikers and the consequent high volume of biker accidents and deaths that ensue.

Were there many lone females on the ride? and is it limited to SV's? I have an SV but my other half, (some say better, but I am not sure about that) has an RI.

I like Mid Wales for riding out, or the Peak district. Good roads nice scenery, camping sites abound....[/b]

Am I missing something or did you not actually post anything?

true, just got the hang of it - new to this. Any advice welcome.

Okay no problem ;).

Certainly there were single females. Mainly SVs (naturally) but guest bikes welcome.
