Hi Rob, I posted it in the Photography and Learning thread a couple of months ago.

I have (per the advice of a few good folk) fiddled with the curves and added some noise to achieve the effect I was originally after when I shot it at ISO 3200.

I have 2, an "Indoor" and an "outdoor" copy. This means I can happily flick through the book in the living room and check everything up without getting mucky, and then cover the other one in oily fingerprints. The nice one was given to me a little while back, so I decided to keep it fresh, but yes. Now you mention it it does look wierd :D

Yep, it's a great pic but for a black and white photo comp I would have used the oil covered one :-)

I'm not entirely sure you can say who's best until you've tried us both! But thanks for the comment for my first entry. I've just got a half decent camera so may be entering a few more from now on. Just waiting for the subject to be "badly composed out of focus shot". Or completely trashed in photoshop.
