Not me!
about 450 miles full circle.

Define ooop Norf?

We had a slate going on if you would be repeating your entrance this morning ;)

Re: Soooooooo...

I did 720 miles for the round trip, including the AR itself, which means that I'm pretty certain I'm out of the running.

Do miles on your side count for more?

That's what happens when you travel into central London, it's like a friggin time warp! Why anybody would choose to do that when they don't have to is beyond me! :D

Yes, and the Bradford ring road also bends time in a similar fashion.

They call it a ring road, I'd not describe it as a ring road by any stretch of the imagination :smt019

Re: Soooooooo...

561 miles to get to site over 11 hour on thursday, bumped up to 624 miles after going around some of the route thursday night, by the time I pulled up outside my house at half four thisafternoon, the mileage was 1034.1.

Cheers Mark.

Re: Soooooooo...

I know who came the furthest last year. ;)

I had a 5000 mile, 20 hour flight (with connections) to land in Manchester then hopped on a bike and rode past Chippenham and that was just the first leg of the journey.
Not sure how may hours I had been awake at that point but would still take that over London traffic!

Er...Impressive numbers but 561 miles to get there, 624 on day one, with a total of 1034???
You either really took the long way there or took a heck of a shortcut on your way home!!!!

dizzyblonde 10-08-11 07:57 AM

Re: Soooooooo...

No Bill, he got up to the site(561, via Wales IIRC) then did some of the route to figure out where to plonk his camera(63).

So 410 miles between Friday and Monday. I wouldn't say it was a shortcut home!

Haha, it's once a year and I personally appppreciate the effort of not only the organisers, but everyone who attends, it makes the forum a much more enjoyable experience and allows the "faces to names" thing.

On the score of effort, what about someone who can't even ride a present, sitting is painful and travelled al the way from London in a Van just to spend sometime in a field with you lot :smt102
