New Moderator..

As BigApe has now stepped down from moderator duties (thanks for all your time and effort BTW), we need a new mod to keep the section in check..

How does it work, do we need to find one from the regular contributors or do we need to ask an existing mod to steer the ship?

I would say no to an existing mod, purely as none of the others are part of our section.( Although if we had to have one then i would choose falc....despite having never met him)

As i said to the ape in PM, best solution is for him to somehow keep doing it. It has worked out well thus far and hopefully it will continue.

If not, then i guess we should cross that bridge if/when we come to it. :)

Shall we discuss this and the potential change of location of our meet at the next social. I wouldn't mind being mod, but if it takes up too much time then I probably wouldn't be the best choice.

Also I think we need someone with a firm hand and years of wisdom to steer this ship and moderate us properly...I nominate Ape (doh) ](*,)!

We could all be moderators of the TV section... an important Social experiment to investigate the viability and validity of democracy in modern society.

No?

How about a free for all on the grass at the front of the pub. Last man (or woman) still breathing gets to be moderator :?:. You'll have to canvas for new members though as all the current ones will be dead.

Trouble is I reckon that you would win. Then we would just be back where we started.

Hey if you can't even make the meet which is literally a stones throw from your own doorstep, any other location isn't going to make much difference now is it.

Personally, I vote for no change.
