New 30 Limit on A4212
 

My son has just driven along the A4212 Bala-Trawsfynnedd road today and reports that workers are installing signs for a new 30 limit from the hairpin at the end of LLyn Celyn to the junction with the B4391 Bleanau Road. This is a wide, open section of road that is quite safe at the current 60 limit - so it looks like this is going to be ruined for those who like the road.

I cannot find anything on Google at the moment as to why this limit is being imposed or if it is permanent. As there are repeater signs going in I suspect this is permanent. :(

These ppl who make speed limits normally drive round in 1ltr micra's and have no sense of humour!!

Very soon there will be no roads left to Hoon On.Always enjoyed Wales as a rider.still do.enjoyed a long one last year early on from home through tunnel, back roads to Barmouth and back along coast road etc. brill ride but wrists ached a bit, riding an old 750 Trident but did it on a tankfull of Juice.Juice, theres another story.still just had a short ride after new chain and sprocket set. Brill. but Ferkin cold. see someone soon out and about??
