July Photo Competition; Street Photography.
Thanks for the votes everyone, that Red Kite has to be one of the most beautiful birds you'll see in the UK.
For this month, the theme is Street Photography. This is a very wide ranging subject, it can be people or places, day or night. I don't want photo's of you and the family on holiday, the people should be strangers if you include them. My examples are from a project I shot many, many years ago on the docks in Liverpool. They're printed on Lithographic Photo paper. I've no idea who the men are, I just walked up, started chatting and they were happy to get their photo taken. Give it a try. You get to meet some right weirdo's! http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...psc4fe5dc9.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps788f7cdb.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...psf2479987.jpg Pete ;) |

I don't have anything anywhere near as cool or grimy as the above... nearly caught Boris Johnson getting off his push bike and shaking the hand of a soldier randomly walking down the street, but just missed the shot. :(
So instead I went for a nice easy street photo, at night lol... because I have nothing else. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3736/9...28ce2860_b.jpg |

And yes btw, you are seeing correctly. There really is a Union Jack and a US flag on every streetlamp. |
