Halfords, ok on price for oils etc?
Going out shortly to get some brake fluid ready for my handelbar conversion, might as well get some oil and chain lube as well while im out.
Limited shops locally, halfords over the road or bikers clearance world. Are halfords reasonably priced for this stuff or should i avoid them like the plague. Thanks |
Re: Halfords, ok on price for oils etc?
Me personally I'm not a big fan of buying from large chains and much prefer to use local people if i can, but doesn't mean I'm in to paying over the odds.
Recently bought Fork oil and Brake fluid. Both Shell high performance and @ £7.00 & £5.50 respectively, don't think i would have saved anything buying from Halfrauds. It's also good for building a little bit of a relationship with the local guy. Rob. |

Suppose it helps that I have a Halfrauds discount card, only tend to use them when everywhere else is shut though
