Unmarked police car
 

Hi all - followed a silver Skoda Octavia today, rego EU03 UDG - it just had those lovely, tiny blue lights which flick up off the parcel shelf. Be warned as 2 mates are facing a ban after Saturday on the A120 at Braintree - police were targetting bikes left, right and centre. Seems we are once more flavour of the month for the local constabulary. :roll:

Is that still Essex or Herts ?

Essex police are not supposed to be having any specific biking activities...

or course they always do the a120 and a130 heavily anyway so anyone caught there is asking for it IMHO

I don't disagree at all Ian - it was a marked car they got stopped by. Bloody great big blue Volvo so if they missed it, tough I suppose. And yes - It's Essex police not Herts on that bit.

well if they didn't see a marked volvo they must've been going too fast :lol:

:lol: ...and just yesterday on my way home - while keeping an eye out for possible law enforcers - I thought to myself that the police don't drive skodas... :lol:

i use the new a120 all the time from braintree-bishops stortford for work & there are lots of police activities.

they like to stand on the over bridges with a speed gun & you think your safe till you get about a mile down the road & there are more of the buggers waiting to flag you into a layby,ive seen that quiet alot.

they also had some people carrier type vehicles with blacked out windows up & down there the other week,not sure what make they were ??? only way i spotted the first one was when it was coming towards me on the opposite carrigeway with its headlights & foglights flashing alternate chasing a speeding motorist,how bloody cheeky is that !!! a people carrier for **** sake.

anyway be warned everyone.
