DK Newcastle
 
Popped out today to go and look in Hein Gerricke and stop at DK ont eh way back.

Hein was open as usual, but DK was locked up, gates bolted and the burger van has disappeared from outside.

The DK Ebay shop has 0 items listed too, have then shut/gone bust or just closed for the weekend?

They always closed on Sundays mate

i was shocked to find this out too, a bike shop as big as DK's should be open on a sunday.

bugger, i was sure they'd breen open on sundays before, oh well guess i should have checked opening times

hi mate, he crashed on the first lap of race one and came 4th in the second, richard cooper won both by a mile.

DK always used to only open Sundays during summer months. I would suspect that is still the case. Seems daft as I thought they would make a decent trade on a Sunday during most months..

I was told that it has something to do with the council not letting them open on a Sunday, or Bank Holidays come to that.

The burger van has gone, but they have got a cafe inside apparently.
