For sale: Yamaha FZ750 Genesis

Bought this a couple of weeks ago but find it too uncomfortable having been used to a TDM for a couple of years. I also fear that I may lose my licence if I were to keep it too long. This would have been my only form of transport to and from work over winter and I daren't risk a 40 mile round trip in the snow/ice etc.(now bought a van for the time being).
1990 fz750 Genesis, mot until April 08, taxed until end of October 07. Chips, cracks, scuffs etc associated with a 17 year old bike.
Needs carbs setting up and new chain. It feels underpowered as though the mixture is too lean.
Previous owner said he'd put new oil and seals in the forks, new disks and a new seat (with detachable single seat cover).
I use the bike everyday and have just done a 290 mile round trip to Leicester with no problems. Viewing is recommended. I live in Rossendale, Lancashire, 2 minutes off the end of the M66.

£550 for a quick sale

Cheers,

Paul.

10 years late, but I'm interested.

If anyone knows of one give me a shout.

Cheers.

The old bikes are making a resurgence these days.
I've just sold my 89 CBR1000F.
