new Suzuki Katana

I missed the news that Suzuki were bringing back the Katana name.

The official unveiling isn't until next month so all we have is a teaser video which only features a sword blade and a mock up picture (from MCN?)

Sorry, imo the bike in the picture looks simply appalling.
Can't think of a single positive thing to say about it other than: at least it isn't a Harley.

Not sure about the back end but the front is a nice nod to the 80's classic.

I think with that back you'd get very wet in the rain. I still like it, just couldn't own one.

Very nice, love the stubby exhaust (although I think it's a Marving with a Yoshi sticker on it). Pity about the aftermarket clocks, one of the best features of the Katana was the speedo / tacho pod and the way the needles moved

Every time I looked at one of these when they were first released in the late 70s I used to think (and still do) "Styling exercise". Interesting shape for their time, but strip the bodywork off and what is left is an across the frame, bog-standard, 4 cylinder UJM.

I know, I know. A heretic, burn him at the stake!
