putting standard can back on?
 
can it be done, if so how?

the only way i can think of it weld?

Did you not get a link pipe for just this purpose when you got your can ?

I got two link pipes with my blue flame, one for fitting the blue flame can and one for refitting the standard item.

Failing that you might try and get one off ebay, or sometimes whole new OEM systems come up on ebay for stupidly cheap amounts of cash...

there was a road legal scorpion already on it when i got it, which i then swapped for the scorpion race can.

come to think of it i did grt a 3-4" bit of pipe, i guess this is to join them back up?

Or just go to a parts store and buy an exhaust clamp and some hi temp sealant.
