R&G Classic Crash Bungs fitting

I got in touch with R&G about the torque settings for both the engine bolts and the engine bar to see if they are the same as the OEM torque settings and they do not seem to know - a fact lot of good that is.

Almighty Org, how many of you guys have fitted them, and how tight did you do the bolts? I know the standard engine bolt is 55nm and the standard engine bar is something like 92nm.

On the R&G instruction manual linked here

Mentions that the bolts should not be tightened anymore than 40nm - but does not specify if that is the bung bolts only (Which would make sense as they are compression) or whether this includes the engine bolts/bar fittings as well.

Any ideas? I don't fancy stripping any threads, or worse, breaking the bike.

Both my SVs have had the engine bolts set to OEM torque and 35Nm for the bungs (when I fitted them they advised 30 to 40 Nm so I went for the middle).

Great stuff thank you. :)
Does that include the engine bar as well? That is my main concern really as it is a high figure as it is. I know R&G replace it, so did you use the stock torque figures on both sides of that too?

Yep everything was stock torque.
