Re: Curvy Cam Swap
Here's how the cams are marked and how they line up, so use the instructions and it should work out.
Think after doing one cylinder, you have to rotate the engine 360 deg to line up the F mark so the other cylinder is in the right position, but don't quote me, I've still got to do the swap myself https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1896/...8e86c13b_b.jpgcam swap by maviczap, on Flickr |
Re: Curvy Cam Swap
Anyone got anymore info on this & a link or something where I can buy the cams if they aren't stupid money ?
Does it need rejetting or reshimming ? Another 8 or so hp is a great gain on for a 60hp bike ! |
Re: Curvy Cam Swap
I have a pair of cams for sale which I never got round to fitting.
Think they are still in the SV parts for sale section, have a look there |

Re: Curvy Cam Swap
Rejetting no, and in fact when I've done this (now 3 times) keeping the same shims in the same locations meant the clearances stayed the same. Hopefully you'll be that lucky.
