Skye - 17th June
 

justmac is coming up from essex for this run and was wondering who was going to go for overnight stay ie travel to skye sat stay sat night and travel back sunday.

he needs numbers so he can book youth hostel.

im going to skye but as i need to be back by sunday lunchtime to pick up connor i will be going there and back in one day.

hope to depart balloch about 8 am if that suits everyone.

so who is coming and do you need accommodation in skye.

Nutty, where abouts on Skye are you all stayin (the overnighters) ?

Defo tryin to get there but will book a wee B&B or cheap hotel next to where you are all staying

Wiz goin to book the SYH at the bridge for one night[Kyleakin £13:00] and walk into the village for a beer or six

What's happening? Are we going,or are you all spendin yer pennies on the trackday I'm easy about it as I can join the South goes North rideout [and probably save a bit of R's ache :lol: ] We could leave it till a bit later in the year
if it would be better for everybody,hopefully when we all have less commitments
The crew down this end all seem to be tied - up with work,buying new bikes moving house etc.

If you can decide by tomorrow I will pm El Boc and take the room left at the pub if a postponement is on the cards

Sorry for being such a pain in the R's but El Boc wants to know whether to keep the booking or let them go

could possibly make it for a run if it was postponed but it's not definite that i would be able to make it

Just a warning, you'll maybe struggle to get places overnight. The music festival is the same weekend, and it's only 8miles up the road from the bridge. A lot of folk camped last year, but not all 5 thousand.

In fact the roads are gonna be stowed out too.

Saucy Mary's is a very popular local pub too, but I suspect with the fessie on for the weekend most south Skye pub's will be a little less frantic. Can't say for certain tho.

maybe be better for you to go on north south ride as this one doesnt appear to be taking off.

few were interested but not heard anything else.

maybe make it later in the year. but if you still fancy coming up not a problem may just be you and me though lol
