Mallory Park on an SV ?
Anyone been on a track day to Mallory Park on an SV? Just come back from Donnington, which was wicked but the SV just gets destroyed on the long straights - really annoying when you've been through all the work of overtaking much faster bikes on the bends  Is Mallory smaller and more managable for an SV - or if not Mallory , whats the best track for SV's within 2-3 hours drive of london ( ie lots of nice bends!!
Thanks |
Youve got lydden, small clockwise track with 2 long sweepers and 2 tighter turns. Nice track and cheep, only down in dover.

Mallory is similar to Lydden with no long straights.Brands indy as well?

Head up to Cadwell, October 14th, I'll be there on the SV giving it a go...
Good to hear that you are getting into the trackdays, know what you mean about the SV on the straight, it can be most frustrating, but on the plus side you get to rub the same guy's nose in it multiple times reovertaking in the twisties where it takes skill and not just a twist of the wrist. Anyone know what Thruxton is like? Down near Salisbury, probably within 2-3 hours from you. |
I'm hoping to get on Mallory on the 17th oct for my birthday.
Not allowed on Cadwell because my liscence is still restricted  |
Cool , thanks for the tips - Cadwell looks good but seems just a bit too far to travel up to in a day . Hoping the weather forecast changes though for Mallory as this friday looks like rain! :(
