The obvious suggestion is C.J.Ball (Suzuki) out at Hales...I guess it depends on the year and model and whether it's worth going to a proper Suzuki garage or not....

Hi by the way

Sounds like you just want someone to refer you to a good honest bike mechanic to me! Anyone?

Alternatively there are some very switched on guys in these forums who race and tinker a lot...maybe a techy post in the right place would get you on the way to fixing the issues yourself?

Nah, newbie or not you'll get some help I'm sure, just give it time...if you see nothing in the morning bump the thread. They're a good bunch here and know their stuff, hence why I'm still here even after selling the SV.
edit: I just read your post in the techy section and it doesn't read too well...I've posted a reply for the most part to bump it as you posted yesterday and it probably got missed

A guy I know is **** hot. He specialises in Ducati's but does work on other bikes. He used to prep race bikes. A friend of mine has trusted him with his bikes for years. He's just had a pair of Klein flat slides fitted to his monster and it runs very sweet. He honest of doesn't over charge.

His name is Karl Harrison and his workshop is in Harleston. 01379852020

Anyone would think you owned the company Mykey, the way you're plugging it for work ;)

Does look like a good place though

the guy finished last in the 1st race of the year and then brought his bike to us. we set it up and he one every race that year bar one from someone fallin down in front of him. he lost the championship by 2 points at the end of the year :)

yer i no i say about where i work alot but i need to get paid so we need work :)

Re: hi to the east anglia member

I'm either just going to replace my rear with a Diablo Rosso II

Or replace both with Avon Storm Ultra II 'S.

Rear size 170/60/17
Front size 120/70/17

Could do either ride in ride out or loose wheel.

Would you want me to supply the tyres.

Mykey.M 07-05-11 06:14 PM

Re: hi to the east anglia member

helloooo :)

loose wheels are £10 each

or if there on the bike its £20 each wheel

isn't a 170 a bit of an odd size? :)

BigBaddad 09-05-11 06:51 AM

Re: hi to the east anglia member

170 Yup odd owner.

Correct size though.

So I'd be ok to supply my own tyres then, yay happy times. They will be balanced an all?

Mykey.M 09-05-11 01:03 PM

Re: hi to the east anglia member

its easyer and quicker if they are loose :)

yer if you can supply your own tyres that would be great :)

and yes they will be balanced :)
