Re: AR2014 Attendance Thread
We have dates in mind but just need to confirm details with all concerned before letting everyone know.

Re: AR2014 Attendance Thread
Lots will need to book a day or two of on holiday.
So it's going to depend on availability for a fair few. |
Re: AR2014 Attendance Thread
I might well be up for it, nice long trip to and from EAR territory, nothing solid in my diary at the mo
Current thinking is if all looks good then hell yeah...I keep meaning to hit those roads...but need more to go on I think Would be interested in getting a bed in the bunkhouse too....looks nice |
Re: AR2014 Attendance Thread
It is a wonderful area - have been up in the car with the family a couple of times and would love to explore on the bike. Way back in the mists of time Lady Poppy and I stayed near Hadrian's Wall when we still did bike holidays (pre munchkin).
Rothbury is near(ish) and was full of bikes on the Sunday when we stayed there last. Lucky buggers - the roads and scenery are fab. Depending on dates for Monkey's AS level exams we may work out a plan to be there. Will see what I can do :). |

To give an update, we're waiting on the site confirming availability.
This will give a teaser of the scenery on the ride http://images.visitnorthumberland.co...um-Heather.jpg http://blog.oobrien.com/files/2009/02/day5view.jpg |
Bunkhouses anyone??
Am I the only person who thinks the bunkhouse sounds like a good plan for the soft southern contingent??
I guess it makes sense to start a list so that when we have a date we can try to book the whole bunkhouse if we have enough people. I believe it sleeps 15. 1. keith_d |
