September trip to the Nurburgring 8-9-10th Sept
 

Right, still haven't decided on the route for my 2 week Euro trip on the SV, but I will be taking in the Nurbrugring in the first weekend. I'll be aiming to hit the continent early Saturday AM, with a view to hopefully getting a lap or two in on the ring in on the evening of the 8th.

It'll then be ring all day on Sunday the 9th (well, with lots of breaks and recovery in the cafe), then some more ring on the Monday afternoon.

The drive to the ring will be all motorways as I want to get there quickly.

After the 'Ring weekend I'll be heading off round some of the Alps and who knows?

So if anyone wants to join me for this first weekend at the 'Ring or meet up there please feel free. Note this is not an organised trip as such, and there will be no guiding round the circuit etc...

I'm off to the Alps on the 24th, and have had news today that I've got a VIP ticket for Magny Cours :smt037. I can't fit another trip in....

I looked to try and make it that weekend Tim but couldn't book time off work. :(

Instead am going round France from 14th - 23rd.

And I've got the week after (17 Sept) booked.

I was hoping to get over to Germany for the week, but as in the previous three years there is a conspiracy working against me. Also known as a wife. :-)
So with luck it's either Northern Ireland or Scotland.

Got a mate in a Civic Type R going, so at least he can carry my luggage out there, and provide somewhere comfy to sit on the tunnel!
