For the 2 stroke lover
This youtuber has put a Yamaha Banshee 350 motor into a Honda Grom. The Banshee was a quad producing about 34 bhp (a standard Grom is about 10).
He has fitted expansion chambers and in this video there are no mufflers - you can plainly hear when it comes "on the pipe". It reminds me of the days I'd leave Cadwell with my ears ringing. The riding starts at 5:57 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKJmniH9oDc |

That's pretty bonkers!

Re: For the 2 stroke lover
Love it!
I wouldn't like to ride at those speeds with such small tyres, scooters are bad enough at about 40 never mind 100 |

Re: For the 2 stroke lover
That's excellent. The Banshee quad motor is essentially the same as a 350YPVS, and there's a big aftermarket industry for tuning parts (barrels, heads, pistons, lock-up clutches etc).
Some UK YPVS owners have used aftermarket Banshee top-ends (you can get up to 450cc if I remember correctly) to give 75+ bhp at the back wheel :-o |

Looks, and sounds, bonkers.

Re: For the 2 stroke lover
I used to races 125 2 strokes at Cadwell, amongst others, "back in the day". Perhaps I contributed to the ringing?

Has your sense of smell gone as well from the fumes?
