sv650s GEL SEAT wanted

Hi,

I'm after a Gel seat to fit a sv650s K9. (I think after market fits 2004 onwards?)

eBay is empty! apart from in the states.

Needs to be in good condition. Don't fancy re-covering anything.

Send yours off to someone like Tony Archer and get a gel insert put in, probably cheaper and quicker than trying to find one on here.

Thanks for that.

I did a quick google search of gel pad installation hoping to find someone but all I found was DIY instructions. I can probably do it myself but would prefer someone with the skills to do it.

I ended up buying the stuff and doing it myself.

I re-used the original seat cover as nothing is wrong with it.

Gel pad = £25 from Ebay
Staple gun = £9.99 from B&Q

the overhang on the sides cant be helped. I removed the foam all the way to the plastic on the sides and it still stuck out. At least it will be comfy though :D

The gel pad itself is very nice. So soft compared to the foam.

Think its turned out alright.
