Easter Monday - Southend Shakedown - Supervox's BBQ
 

Monday 9th April 2012 - Easter Monday

As usual the Ace are having their traditional 'start-of-the-biking-season' (halfway through the flippin' year!) run to sunny (nearly always) Saaffend.

Also as usual, Chez Vox will be hosting a now traditional Easter BBQ - preceded by a short round the local lanes blast for any who may be interested :cool:

Time : 1:45 for a 2:00 departure

Meeting Place : As in previous years - the car park of the Lidl supermarket juts off the seafront in Woodgrange Drive (see link to map below)

Directions from seafront : Ride east to the traffic lights at The Kursaal (sea on your right, arcades on your left) - turn LEFT - at roundabout take 3RD EXIT - look for LIDL SIGN on the right.

As always all Org-ans are welcome - a PM nearer the time would be appreciated just so we can get some idea of numbers.

Hope to see the usual suspects as well as some new faces - roll on Easter :grin:

Woop woop. May avoid the ususal route to get to Lidl as last year it was just full of Hells Angel wannabes and teenagers doing dangerous wheelies and stoppies on their 50cc chavmobiles.

Not sure if I'll be back on my own bike by then but sure I can start out with Mr LPH then play a bit of pillion roulette.

Will home made burgers and cookies be required?

I'll be there my good man and very much like last year, I'll be at the Warley Services on the A127 to meet the folks on route from the Ace.

Hey guys!

Put Daniela & moi down for it please. Do we need to bring anything apart from good humor and positive attitude?
And are we meeting at the Ace and do a group ride or individual?

Can we also ask Soulkiss for some of his famous ginger beer? :)
