The home safe thread

I am. Don't quite know how I managed it. I can't remember ever being that sick before and it's the first time I've passed out in a pub.

Thanks to everyone who looked after me. You're good mates to have around. Especially Brock, who should really be wearing a nurse's uniform.

I still feel terrible. Fever and ache everywhere. Straight to bed after a bath.

Thanks to the GM for brilliant organisation. Just sorry I had to leave early.

Hopefully see lots of you at TOGMIE.

LPH a.k.a. Mrs Chunderpants.

Glad you are back ok, rest up and chill for the rest of the weekend!

Maybe treat yourself to a sarnie with that new mustard when you are a bit better!

Clare, I wanted to come over and say hello, but you really did not look up to receiving visitors, and then we reliased you'd packed up and headed off. Glad to know you got home safe as we were a tad concerned.

Personally I didn't stay as long as planned due to a friend being taken ill requiring my presence back home. At least I have the memory of seeing Dave Preston in a monkey onesie...

A very fleeting visit I'm afraid, probably miss a few folks, sorry about that.

I passed you as I was leaving Mark.

I forgot to turn off my alarm which went off at 6.30. Mr LPH got in after 2.30am so he wasn't happy. But aside from still having a banging headache (and I'm probably not the only one today) I feel almost human. Not sure I look it yet, I'm still paler than a goth in midwinter.

Dave Preston in a monkey onesie? Please tell me there are photos?

Unfortunately, not the weather for sitting around on Sunday morning. So I took advantage of the dry tarmac and left before breakfast.

I've just arrived home and I'm looking forward to a long hot shower.

Ride safe,

Keith.

Still only the third funniest thing this weekend.

In second place was Soulkiss standing in a crowded bar announcing, "My name is David and I'm a Mac user"

And top spot goes to Phil for toppling the portabog with someone inside it. Fortunately, the victim saw the funny side and the poo tank wasn't too full. Awesomely funny.

Home and dry.
Glad your back on the mend, sorry no nurse outfit for me clare, only got one in your size but you went home early.

Re: The home safe thread

Thanks to Lorrie I got home with no drama. After a jump start from Sid. It was just the crosswind trying to rip my head off on the A34 that made it a bit uncomfortable.

Been back about half an hour, unpacked and chilling.

Great weekend, good to catch up with everyone again.

Don't feel bad Keith, I think the org reached a consensus on that one.

I for one had had quite enough of the weather and the great outdoors.

That said I had a great time despite the weather and my personal mishaps.

It got a lot less funny when I climbed into an enclosed tent.

Turned out the bottoms of my jeans were a little bit funky, but I live close enough to go change them.

Plus Now I can say I've got my knee down in a portaloo, that's gotta count for something?

I've been home for a little bit after finding myself riding with a flat tyre to Petersfield, pumping up the tyre then finding myself in Midhurst with a flat again then waiting for the AA to come and do a temporary seal so I could trot home.

Thanks all for an epic weekend, sorry I didn't get round to saying "Hi" and Bye" to everyone.

Look forward to doing it all again sometime soon and also looking forward to seeing the photos and videos from it.

No worries, rather leave it nicer than we found it...

Wasn't much left, half a black bag and a few glasses that made their way back to the pub...

Roll on next year!! I'll remember to bring some electricity with me...:D

no, she didn't, but i'm afraid I had/have no idea what her name is/was as I don't think I've met her before, or at least if I have i'm afraid I most certainly can't remember her! :(

I know I did, clutchless up change as per usual and the bu66er just wouldn't go into 2nd gear for some reason or another. I had to pull the clutch in for the up change, which is incredibly rare for me!
