Photo comp: February Theme: VOTE OFF
Evening all, firstly, thanks to everyone for the votes last month, I was narrowly beaten (justifiably so, if I'd remembered to vote he'd have had mine) by Stuartyboy. But since his win has been regrettably silent. In leiu of having the real winners topic I'll put forward mine (at the request of our resident independent adjudicator Richie :))
I'm still cautious about this as when i was a newbie I entered, got one vote and jumped the gun and posted the next topic! I wanted to slink into the digital darkness, felt really guilty for denying the real winner as people had latched onto it before it became clear (whoops) so I'll happily stand aside if stuartyboy realises. Anyhow, sorry, needed to get that said. This months topic is: Mobile phone shots any picture is valid but it must have been taken on a mobile phone. Contrary to the first thought on it, I did give it some consideration. Let's level the playing field this month, DSLRs don't automatically take great pictures but they do unlock a lot more potential. That said, im constantly surprised by the quality of some camera phones, I'd like to see what the org can do. I suspect this is going to be really unpopular with those who just got DSLRs, I've seen a few (sorry heh) but hopefully popular with the people who don't always have the option or material to enter. Heres my sample shot: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1001/...dbae5955_b.jpg Thanks once again! |

Nice idea Brett. Digital is digital & it opens the comp up to more people.
Here's mine taken on my old KF750 LG phone in 2009. Place called Bromfield near Ludlow in Shropshire https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_8...0/LGIM0089.jpg |
