A few from today around the North Pennines
First Hadrians Wall well a bit that's left of it. [IMG]https://i.imgur.com/Gi8cadW.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]https://i.imgur.com/K1aEm7Z.jpg[/IMG] Views from the summit between Weardale and Teesdale also claimed to be Englands Highest public road and only about 5 miles away. England and the UK's highest tarmac is about 10 miles away at an RAF radar station, but your not supposed to go. The dip in the centre of the second picture looks very like the top of Haltwhistle Burn near the pub at the crossroads. Just spent a week up there - many miles, none of the on the bike :( |
