SV650 Engine For Sale

2 Attachment(s)
The engine was to be used in a university project car but it was
replaced with an R6 engine :( before the chassis got made. The engine it
self is in very good condition, but the clutch basket needs replacing.

If possible, I wanted to sell the engine in one go. I'm based in Bath.
Looking for £300 ono.

There are some pics below but if anyone wants close up or details on anything just ask

Hi Rob,

Yes it does come with the side casings as well, they just weren't attached at the time of the photos. If there is anything else you wanted to see in a photo, let me know.

What mileage has the engine done?

If its a formula student car then the R6 lump is common, but has to be quite heavily restricted on the air intakes.
Boring sods making safety rules :-P

what is the power limit? would have thought an Sv engine would be quite good due to its torque still be way more powerful than necessary

All fairly far off topic, but I'm just curious lol

Yeah i think they are limited to a single throtle body and a washer is used to restrict the air intake or something like that. Ive got a friend using a cbr600f engine in his one and hes been having loads of fun making a quick shifter for it. Some of those cars are silly tho way to much money spent on something that reallistically cant get much over 50.

I do fancy making an off road buggy with a bike engine, that would be a right laugh.

No silly power limits either :D
