Which wax works well?

and other such alliteration..

having got nose to nose with the fairing recently i've become a bit anal about all the tiny scratches on my plastic..

Any recomendatations on what's best to polish it out or colour it in with...

The only way to remove scratches and swirls is by random orbital polisher tbh, if you use tcut it will just leave finer scratches.

Avoid silicone based waxes, carnuba wax is best IMO, zymol do cheaper ones as opposed to their £8k one starting from about £40 but will last years as it is only used in very small amounts.

Here's my sprint...

Poorboys SSR-2.5 is awesome for scratches and swirls.

What colour is your bike? If its darker you can also use Poorboys Black Hole show glaze.

I use both of these and finish with a carnuba wax.

No nothing about wax, I'm just subscribing to the thread because I have a new car and want to protect it with a good wax sometime soon.

I use Poorboys blackhole on my dark car which is pretty decent at hiding small nicks:

Only a proper polish will get rid of scratches, or if they are deep then a respray. As for wax I use FPK1000 or Collinite 476S, really durable stuff. I use this on my wheels and lower body panels.

On top I use dodo juice, any flavour will do but my favourite is Hard Candy

Here is my beemer after a good polish and wax with said products:

I used to use autoglym myself and it's ok but it's old hat now tbh they have all moved on now.
That zymol stuff is unbelievable, makes cleaning the vehicle after a breeze.
