I'm trying to resist pulling the trigger on Friday/Saturday at Oulton next week.

It'll be cold, and probably wet, but after my last trip there I have unfinished business...

Got a set on spare wheels, but have never needed to use them. Worst case is I finally get a chance for knee-down antics in the rain.

One of my best track days ever was a sunny summer-like November day. It was reduced to two groups due to poor uptake and i managed 8 ace sessions before sacking the ninth due to exhaustion. Brilliant.

I'm there tomorrow in a forecast rain storm. Here's a pic from that ace November day in 2011.

Your guarantee is worthless. Forecast is for mixed weather tomorrow and a downpour on Saturday. Starting to think I should have brought a jetski, not a gixer.

Still, at least the wheel swap will give me something to do when I get there tomorrow morning.
