Nothing IMO will ever beat race 1 and 2 at Imola in 200_(please fill here, think it was 2)! When Troy Bayliss and Edwards were at it. The fact that Bayliss was able to hold Edwards up in the corners so that Xaus could catch.

It was 2002 and Edwards didn't need to win race 2 to take the championship a second would have secured it but Bayliss, as you said, was holding Edwards up on the corners in the hope that Xaus would catch up and take second place behind Bayliss and securing Bayliss' second WSB Championship.

They both fought for that title that day, they both deserved it but I had a bet on Edwards clinching it at the last round and won a fair sum of money! I have the full race still on tape somewhere, and thankfully it isn't with Jack Burnicle commentating!

It is by far the best WSB round let alone race in history!
