FREE Satnav software
 

Ladies,Gentlemen, Grinch

Over the weekend i found Nav4all Satnav software. Its free to download and is compatible with the current range of AGPS mobiles, and smartphones, well, any other mobile but you will need a GPS Dongle thing.

Its very basic, but happily found the route form my house to the pub and back again. There are no maps just arrows and clear directions. Its also global as well.

gonna give it a shot on my n96 although i have the full nokia maps

it also seems to download everything off the internet so when you make a search it then downloads the location. It didnt like my internal gps either so i got rid of it. Will be good to check up on updates though

i've been using google maps on my htc pda for yonks now, does full postcode and works abroad really well, it does download off the web but you can use road view or satellite view as well, is this any better ???

Tried to use this this morning and I can't seem to get a route calculated on my N95. The software is definatley connected to both the web and the internal GPS but each time I try to enter a route, the navigation page (the one with a big blue arrow) comes up, the top bar says "Calculating" and then keeps saying "No Route". Anyone else had these problems?

Google maps works on my N95. Easy download and install.
