2007 SV 650 SA, front fender marking?

New rider here. I recently tested a 2007 SV 650 SA and fell immediately in love with it. I then found someone claiming to offer the same model with fewer kilometers on it for the same price. I noticed, however, that his front fender is missing the "ABS" marking I see on every other example of these bikes. Does this mean he's crashed it and replaced the fender? Did the ABS versions invariably have an "ABS" marking on the front fender?

Many thanks!

ABS was only an option on the SVs and Gladius, so not all bikes had it (I'd say that the majority of bikes sold did NOT have ABS, as it was quite an expensive extra). ABS only became standard equipment on the new-style Gen 3 SVs, introduced in Europe in 2016

Thanks for the info., and I apologize for the confusion: the seller is claiming that the bike has ABS. I haven't seen it in person, but I am not doubting his claim yet. I'm just suspicious because the front fender is missing the marking that all the other ABS-equipped SV's seem to have.

I can't say with 100% certainty if every bike with ABS had the 'ABS' logo on the mudguard from the factory. It is also possible he could have changed the fender ... they are only plastic and it doesn't take much to crack or break them.

If you have a picture look for the ABS ring on the front wheel, the one on the rear wheel is a little harder to see. The front ring is on the left side of the wheel.
