Paddock stand/abba stand or?
I'm after a front and rear stand for when i work on my new bike!
Can't spend too much but obviously me being little i need something easier. Still not sure i can hold the bike whilst putting rear stand on don't think my arms would be long enough! is there any other ideas? |

Rear paddock stand, bit of wood under the side stand whilst you get things aligned - works for me.

Re: Paddock stand/abba stand or???
IMO you'd find the abba stand better if you're concerned about getting the bike up onto the stand by yourself. It's a piece of p155 with the abba stand. Also handy if you ever decide to replace the rear shock.
it's a bit pricier than a lot of the other rear paddock stands though. |
Re: Paddock stand/abba stand or???
mattress either side of the bike.
or like redlavachips sez, get a friend to assist. many hands make light work and all that. |

Re: Paddock stand/abba stand or???
Abba stand, bit more expensive, but means you can work on the suspension too.
Plus its much more secure than a paddock stand. easy to get the bike on an ABBA stand too, as it has a great big extending arm to assist puny people like me. They turn up on Ebay from time to time, but are heavy, so folks aren't willing to post them. |

I´m with El Saxo on this... Just used one to work on my clutch... didnt actually need to could have got away without it however, it just makes working on the bike that much more comfortable. Easy to use on your own. Have a look on ebay they come around once in a while but new arent cheap. |
